LNER Community Stadium
York, North Yorkshire, England
LNER Community Stadium, York, England — opened 2021, 152 rugby league games hosted, home of York City Knights.
Sourcing caveat: This venue is the successor ground to the already-written-up Huntington Stadium: York City Knights moved from Huntington Stadium (closed 2014) to this new stadium once it opened in 2020/21. No source found gives a specific date for the Knights' first rugby league match at the new ground (only the football opener, 16 Feb 2021, is documented).

Rugby league history
Built at Monks Cross in Huntington, on the northern edge of York, the York Community Stadium (sponsored as the LNER Community Stadium) is shared by York City A.F.C. and York City Knights rugby league club. Planning permission was granted in March 2015 and construction began in December 2017, with the finished venue handed over to operators in December 2020 and its first match (a football fixture) played in February 2021. It replaced Huntington Stadium (also known as Ryedale Stadium), the Knights' previous home a short distance away, which had closed in 2014 and was later demolished, with the site itself becoming part of the York Community Stadium development.
Primarily known as York City A.F.C.'s football ground (National League), which is the naming rights sponsor's (LNER) main association with the venue; York City Knights rugby league is the other permanent tenant.
