Rugby league history
A Dronfield, Derbyshire football ground that became Sheffield Eagles' new home in 2026 under a groundshare with Sheffield F.C. Local firm MEPS International bought the naming rights from the 2023/24 season, though the ground is still commonly referred to by its original name, Home of Football Stadium. With rugby league use only just beginning, its recorded games and crowds here are all from the 2026 season.
Primarily a football ground: the permanent home of Sheffield F.C., recognised as the world's oldest football club, since it opened in 2001 on land behind the Coach and Horses pub in Dronfield. Rugby league use began only in 2026, when Sheffield Eagles relocated here from Olympic Legacy Park.
