Rugby league history
A modest amateur rugby league ground in Bradford, home to Bradford Dudley Hill RLFC since 1979, notable chiefly for its 1993 floodlight/clubhouse upgrade and a giant-killing 1997 Challenge Cup win, 21-14, over professional side York — and for a 2005 National League Three Grand Final win there, 28-26 over Bramley Buffaloes. Its name carries a poignant historical dimension, memorialising a young player who died playing for the club in 1976. Located on the corner of Parry Lane and Lower Lane, Bradford, with a small covered stand behind one set of posts.
