The home ground of Birmingham & Solihull Bees RFC (rugby union), at Forshaw Heath Lane, Portway, shared for a single 2022 season with the Midlands Hurricanes rugby league club as an interim training-and-playing arrangement while the Hurricanes sought a longer-term home (subsequently found at Alexander Stadium from 2023). The Hurricanes finished 8th in League 1 that season (6 wins, 14 losses) and exited the Challenge Cup in the second round.
