Ground facts
| Opened | unknown (A genuine, unresolved naming discrepancy: Rugby League Project records this ground as West View Road, but the home club's own official materials, including their entries with the sport's governing bodies, give their address as Grass Road. Rugby League Project's own team page for the club separately lists three different venue names across different seasons, Grass Road, West View Road, and Distington Community Sports Club, without making clear whether these describe one site under different labels or genuinely separate grounds. This is disclosed rather than resolved.) |

Name history
Rugby league history
West View Road is recorded as the home ground of Distington, an amateur club in Cumbria's rugby league community. Its two recorded matches were Challenge Cup ties played five years apart, in 2018 and 2023, though whether both were played at exactly the same physical site is unclear given the naming inconsistency noted above.
