1989 NFL Season — Final Standings

Final regular-season standings. Dallas Cowboys finished 1-15, the league's worst record, in Jimmy Johnson's first season as head coach. San Francisco went 14-2, the league's best record, and went on to win Super Bowl XXIV. Minnesota won a weak NFC Central at 10-6 over an identical Green Bay on tiebreaker, as Chicago (the division's power the previous two seasons) collapsed to 6-10.
