Ground facts

Openedaround 2003 (A contemporary trade-press report places construction of the new Russell Way ground around 2002-2004, after the club's previous site was sold to Tesco, while the club's own history page more vaguely says the move happened in the late 1990s -- a minor discrepancy between sources, disclosed rather than picked. The wide 2015-2026 match-date range was independently re-verified via direct WebFetch of Rugby League Project's own results page: it reflects two genuinely isolated Challenge Cup qualifying-round ties 11 years apart at a minor amateur ground, not a data error.)

Name history

    Rugby league history

Brighouse Sports Club's Russell Way ground is a purpose-built amateur complex that replaced Brighouse Rangers' old town-centre site in the early 2000s. It has twice hosted Challenge Cup qualifying-round fixtures brought to a small community venue by the competition's open amateur early rounds: a 2015 tie (Siddal 12-31 Featherstone Lions) and a 2026 tie (Brighouse Rangers 6-42 Lock Lane).
