Rugby league history
Brisbane Road is best known as the long-time home of Leyton Orient F.C. Its one recorded rugby league fixture came on 6 May 2012, a Super League Round 13 match in which London Broncos lost 22-29 to Bradford Bulls in front of 2,844 fans. London Broncos, the competition's sole London-based club, have historically used various football grounds around the capital as home venues for lack of a dedicated large rugby league stadium, making this a rare instance of top-flight rugby league at an association football ground.
