Rugby league history
Rugby league is a minor part of the venue's history: semi-professional side Coventry Bears played a League 1 fixture there against Keighley Cougars on 8 May 2016 (Bears lost 16-36, attendance 1,097, a record crowd for the fixture), and the ground hosted an England-Scotland/Australia-New Zealand doubleheader as part of the 2016 Four Nations. At the 2021 Rugby League World Cup (played Oct–Nov 2022, using the CBS Arena sponsor name at the time), the venue hosted a group match on 21 October 2022, Australia's 84–0 rout of Scotland, in front of 10,276 spectators.
Primarily a football ground (Coventry City) that has also hosted rugby union (Wasps), concerts, and 2012 Olympic football/2022 Commonwealth Games events.
