A temporary home for Leigh between grounds just after the war, hosting 21 matches across the Northern Rugby League (16 matches), Challenge Cup (1) and Lancashire Cup (2) in the single 1946/47 season. Notable home results included wins over Swinton (22-5), Bramley (23-2), Batley (22-5) and Keighley (17-0), and losses to Widnes (5-11) and Wigan (2-7).
Primarily an athletics club ground (home to Leigh Harriers Athletics Club, which still exists today, though it is not confirmed whether the modern club uses the same site).
