1976 NFL Season — Final Standings

Final regular-season standings, an expansion season: the league grew from 26 to 28 teams as the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers joined. In an unusual one-season-only arrangement, Tampa Bay played its debut season in the AFC West (finishing 0-14, the only winless team in this window) while Seattle played its debut in the NFC West (2-12) — the two teams swapped into their now-familiar conferences the following season.
