Qualifying Semi-Final, 2011 Super League finals series: Warrington Wolves 24–26 Leeds Rhinos, at Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington on 30 Sep 2011.
Sourcing caveat: Warrington's try-scorer list differs between sources: the Yorkshire Evening Post credits Monaghan, Bridge and a King brace (which reconciles mathematically to the 24-point score), while one Rugby League Project table rendering instead credited a Riley brace only (which does not reconcile) — the mathematically consistent version is used here, with the conflict flagged rather than silently resolved. Ryan Atkins' number on this match's source page reads "23" — an unusually high number for an established regular, printed alongside an internal duplicate elsewhere on the same page (both Warrington wingers briefly rendered as "2" before a targeted re-fetch resolved the wingers). Given that clash and Atkins' consistent 4 in this backlog's other 2011 Warrington entries, his number here is recorded as 4 rather than the page's "23". Chris Bridge's number on the same page reads "4" (clashing with Atkins) rather than his usual 13 seen elsewhere this season, so his number is likewise recorded as 13 here for consistency rather than the page's misreading.

Match report
Leeds Rhinos won 26-24 away at Warrington Wolves' Halliwell Jones Stadium on 30 September 2011 in a Super League Qualifying Semi-Final — the fixture Warrington picked for themselves under the era's "club call" rule, choosing to play Leeds (the lower-ranked Preliminary Semi-Final winner) over Wigan, expecting an easier route after beating Leeds twice in the regular season. Instead the match went to the wire: with around two minutes left, Warrington had a match-levelling drop-goal attempt charged down, but the touch judge ruled Richie Myler offside on the charge-down and referee Steve Ganson awarded a penalty, which Kevin Sinfield converted to seal the win — sending massive underdogs Leeds through to the Grand Final at Warrington's expense.
