2016 First Utility Super League — Final Super 8s Standings

Sourcing caveat: The bottom-4 Super League clubs entering the parallel, points-reset "Qualifiers" group were Leeds Rhinos, Huddersfield Giants, Hull Kingston Rovers and Salford Red Devils, joined by the top 4 Championship clubs (Leigh Centurions, London Broncos, Batley Bulldogs, Featherstone Rovers) — not included in the "ladder" table above since it wasn't the same 8-club competition. Leeds and Huddersfield retained their Super League place; Leigh Centurions were promoted directly (2nd in the Qualifiers, above the play-off cutoff); Hull KR and Salford met in the Million Pound Game, which Salford won, retaining their own Super League place and relegating Hull KR to the Championship. The exact Million Pound Game score was not independently confirmed by 2 sources within this research pass and isn't reported here.
