2012 Super League — Final Ladder
Wigan Warriors won the League Leaders' Shield, finishing top after 27 rounds, but were eliminated in the Qualifying Semi-Finals. Leeds Rhinos won the Grand Final from 5th place — their second consecutive title won from outside the top four, after beating Wakefield, Catalans, Wigan and Warrington in successive playoff rounds.
Sourcing caveat: Bradford Bulls' competition points reflect a 6-point deduction imposed by the RFL in late July 2012 after the club entered administration — their raw record (14 wins, 1 draw) would otherwise have earned 29 points, reduced here to 23; this was a separate, earlier incident from the club's second administration and matching 6-point deduction in 2014. Castleford Tigers and Widnes Vikings finished level on 12 points (13th/14th), split on points difference. Bradford's raw win/draw/loss record (14-1-12) outperforms Wakefield's (13-0-14) despite finishing below them in the table — a direct result of the deduction.
