2002 Super League — Final Ladder

St Helens finished top of the regular-season table on points difference over Bradford Bulls, but the League Leaders' Shield did not yet exist as an award — it was first introduced in 2003. St Helens went on to beat Bradford 19-18 in the Grand Final, winning their third Super League title in four seasons.

Sourcing caveat: No salary-cap or administration point deductions applied within the 2002 season itself — the 2-point deductions for St Helens, Hull FC and Halifax that are sometimes associated with this era were applied to the 2003 table, not retroactively to 2002, following an RFL audit announced in May 2003. St Helens finished top on points difference over Bradford Bulls (both level on 46 points) but no League Leaders' Shield was awarded, since the award did not exist until 2003. Ladder rows 1-2 are corroborated by two independent sources; rows 3-12 rest on a single source (Rugby League Project) and have not been independently cross-checked digit-by-digit.
