Warrington Wolves — 0 Super League/British top-flight titles on record.
Club Background
Warrington RLFC, nicknamed "Wolves" since the 1997 Super League season, was founded in 1876 as Warrington Zingari FC and was a founding member of the Northern Union in 1895. The club spent over 130 years at Wilderspool Stadium before relocating to the Halliwell Jones Stadium in 2004. Warrington enjoyed strong early/mid-20th-century success, winning the Championship in 1947-48, 1953-54 and 1954-55 (no title since), plus five Challenge Cups. Under coach Tony Smith, the club enjoyed a productive Super League-era Challenge Cup run — winning in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2019 — but despite reaching four Super League Grand Finals (2012, 2013, 2016, 2018), Warrington have never won the Grand Final/title in the Super League era.

Club history
Warrington traces its roots to 1876, founded as Warrington Zingari Football Club, before becoming one of the 22 clubs that broke from the Rugby Football Union to form the Northern Union in 1895. The club moved to Wilderspool in 1898, and it remained the club's home for over a century. Warrington's golden era of silverware came either side of the Second World War and into the 1950s: Challenge Cup wins in 1904-05, 1906-07, 1949-50 and 1953-54, plus Championship titles in 1947-48, 1953-54 and 1954-55 — the club's last top-flight Championship to date. A further Challenge Cup was won in 1973-74 against Featherstone Rovers.
The club rebranded from plain "Warrington" to "Warrington Wolves" for the 1997 Super League season. In 2004, after more than 130 years at Wilderspool, Warrington moved into the newly built Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The Super League era brought a renewed period of cup success, largely under long-serving head coach Tony Smith: Challenge Cup wins in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2019. However, the club has been unable to convert regular-season strength into a Super League Grand Final title, losing all four Grand Final appearances it has made — 2012 (to Leeds Rhinos), 2013, 2016 and 2018 (all to Wigan Warriors) — leaving Warrington as one of Super League's most successful clubs by Challenge Cup count yet still without a Grand Final championship. More recent head coaches have included Steve Price, Daryl Powell and, from the 2024 season, Sam Burgess.
Sourcing caveat: Challenge Cup opponent/score detail for the 1904-05, 1906-07 and 1949-50 finals relies on a single source and hasn't been independently cross-checked against a primary RFL record. The Championship title list (1947-48, 1953-54, 1954-55) similarly relies on one source. The Grand Final list (2012, 2013, 2016, 2018, all losses) is cross-verified across two independent sources.
