Wigan Warriors thrashed Huddersfield Giants 57-4 in a Super League Qualifying Play-off at the DW Stadium on 18 September 2014, leading 24-0 at half-time and running in nine tries. Matty Smith contributed 21 points from a try, eight goals and a field goal. Huddersfield, previously the form side of the run-in, managed only a single Leroy Cudjoe consolation try.
