Match report
St Helens led 8-0 at half-time through a Lewis Dodd try and went on to beat Warrington Wolves 16-8 at Totally Wicked Stadium, despite playing much of the game a man down after Alex Walmsley was sin-binned for a dangerous tackle in the 10th minute. Tommy Makinson's second-half try put the result beyond doubt after Connor Wrench had briefly given Warrington hope. The match doubled as the last home appearance at the ground for long-serving St Helens forwards James Roby and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook.
