1997-98 NBA Season Standings

Michael Jordan and the Bulls (62-20) won a sixth and final title of the 1990s dynasty, again beating Utah 4-2 in the 'Last Dance' Finals. Seattle edged the identically-record (61-21) Los Angeles Lakers for the Pacific Division crown on a tiebreaker, which slotted the Sonics into the West's 2 seed ahead of the Lakers at 3. New York and New Jersey finished tied at 43-39 for the East's final two playoff berths (7 and 8 seeds).
