1945-46 Northern Rugby League Championship
Wigan won the Championship, beating Huddersfield 13-4 in the Final — the first fully official season after WWII's suspension (1939-40 through 1944-45 had wartime emergency competitions but no recognised Championship). 27 clubs restored, including Workington Town's first-ever entry.
