1977-78 Rugby Football League Championship — Final Table
Widnes won the title. Bradford Northern and Featherstone Rovers both played only 29 games - Bradford's final fixture was cancelled due to a Featherstone Rovers players' strike and never replayed. St Helens' 2nd/Bradford Northern's 3rd placing and Dewsbury's Points Against (579) are both corrected against rugbyleagueproject.org, which this site independently re-fetched directly: Wikipedia's own table had mistakenly listed Bradford Northern (44 pts) above St Helens (45 pts), and mistyped Dewsbury's Points Against as 589.
