Notes, by series
| Season | Notes |
|---|---|
| 2014 | Inaugural edition. |
| 2016 | No replacement champion was ever officially assigned after the title was stripped — shown here as vacant rather than crediting either finalist. |
| 2017 | Last edition at Eden Park before a hiatus. |
| 2020 | Revived after a 2-year hiatus and moved to Perth. The competition has not run since. A genuine NRLW club Nines competition (rather than the Jillaroos-vs-Kiwi-Ferns exhibition match played alongside 2014-2017) was held for the first time this year — St George Illawarra beat Brisbane 28-4 in the inaugural women's club final. |
2016: a stripped, vacant title
Parramatta Eels won the 2016 final but were later stripped of the title over salary-cap breaches unrelated to the tournament itself. No replacement champion was ever officially assigned, so 2016 is shown here as vacant rather than crediting either finalist.
Not currently run
The competition has not been held since 2020.
