An earlier era, not yet covered

A separate women's Challenge Cup existed as far back as 1989 (Crosfield Ladies beat Halifax Ladies in the first final), run by the Ladies Amateur Rugby League Association (LARLA, later WARLA) before the RFL took over the women's game. That 1989-2011 era hasn't been separately researched yet, so this list begins with the modern, RFL-administered competition's 2012 relaunch.
