Minor Semi-Final, 1957 NRL finals series: South Sydney Rabbitohs 26–13 Western Suburbs Magpies, at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, NSW on 31 Aug 1957.
Sourcing caveat: South Sydney's named scorers (Brian Wright 3 tries + 4 goals = 17) fall 9 points short of the recorded 26 -- the source names only Wright's tries despite repeated targeted re-queries. Western Suburbs' named scorers (Darcy Henry 2 tries + 2 goals = 10) fall 3 points short of the recorded 13, likely one further unnamed try. Both reported honestly rather than guessed.
