Match report
Melbourne Storm crushed Cronulla-Sutherland 37-10 at AAMI Park to book a preliminary final berth. The Sharks struck early through Sione Katoa after a kick-off fumble, but Cameron Munster hit back for Melbourne almost immediately, and Will Warbrick and Briton Nikora traded tries either side of half-time to leave the Storm 14-10 up at the break. Melbourne then produced a second-half shutout, with hooker Harry Grant — playing his 100th NRL game — scoring a hat-trick alongside a second Warbrick try to blow the margin out. Nick Meaney landed six goals and Ryan Papenhuyzen added a late field goal, sealing a dominant, error-free finish.
