Data last verified: 11 August 2026.
Semi-Final, 1934 NRL finals series: Western Suburbs Magpies 16–6 St. George, at Sydney Sports Ground, Sydney, NSW on 18 Aug 1934.
Sourcing caveat: Western Suburbs' 2 successful goals are credited to Cornwell and Mead jointly; a non-raw summary on the source page claimed 'Cornwell 2/2, Mead 1/2' (3 successful goals total), which would overshoot the score to 18 points - the raw-scoresheet blank-cell reading of 2 total goals is the one that reconciles, most likely Cornwell 2 and Mead 0, but the exact split is not fully confirmable from the source.
