Data last verified: 11 August 2026.
Preliminary Final, 1974 NRL finals series: Eastern Suburbs Roosters 25–2 Western Suburbs Magpies, at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, NSW on 14 Sep 1974.
Sourcing caveat: Eastern Suburbs' named scorers (2 tries + 5 goals = 16) fall 9 points short of the recorded 25, clearly reflecting further unlisted tries consistent with a 25-2 result -- the source's extraction did not surface them despite repeat attempts, and none are invented here. Western Suburbs' single goal matches the recorded 2 points exactly.
