Preliminary Final, 1983 NRL finals series: Parramatta Eels 18–4 Canterbury-Bankstown, at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, NSW on 18 Sep 1983.
Sourcing caveat: Canterbury-Bankstown's score is a clean, explainable gap: confirmed scorers total 0, versus a recorded score of 4, meaning a single unconverted try whose scorer the source's scoresheet did not name. Reported honestly rather than guessing a name. Parramatta's side reconciles exactly.
