Match report
The Bulldogs led early through Matt Utai but Parramatta hit the front before halftime through Mark Riddell and Eric Grothe and never relinquished it. Brett Finch, in a man-of-the-match performance, added a rare field goal midway through the second half before further tries to Timana Tahu and Jarryd Hayne in the final five minutes blew the margin out in front of a huge crowd, ending the Bulldogs' season.
