Match report
In front of a huge crowd at ANZ Stadium, Parramatta continued their fairytale run by beating cross-town rivals Canterbury-Bankstown in a fiercely contested derby final. Four different Eels try-scorers, including a crucial contribution from interchange forward Joe Galuvao and prop Tim Mannah, proved enough to overcome a Bulldogs outfit inspired by Bryson Goodwin and Josh Morris. The win — Parramatta's third straight finals victory as the 8th seed — made them the first team in NRL/ARL history to reach a Grand Final from 8th position on the ladder.
