Match report

Parramatta's 58-0 demolition of Brisbane in the 2019 Elimination Final at Bankwest Stadium stands as the most one-sided result in NRL finals history. The 58-point margin eclipsed the previous record of 55-7, set by Newtown over St George in the 1944 NSWRFL finals, and remains the heaviest defeat the Broncos have suffered since entering the competition in 1988. Brisbane, coached by Anthony Seibold in his debut season, were overwhelmed from the outset, conceding 11 tries while failing to register a single point. Halfback Mitchell Moses orchestrated the rout, scoring two tries himself and setting up several others, while winger Maika Sivo and five-eighth Dylan Brown each crossed twice. The result propelled Parramatta into a semi-final against minor premiers Melbourne Storm, while for Brisbane it triggered a period of introspection and roster upheaval that reverberated through the following two seasons.
