Match report
A high-scoring, error-riddled shootout that produced 72 points and 13 tries between two attack-minded Queensland sides. Teenage sensation Israel Folau announced himself on the finals stage with a hat-trick of tries, while Darren Lockyer steered the Broncos attack from five-eighth. Gold Coast, in just their second season, fought hard behind tries to Kevin Gordon and David Mead, but Brisbane's superior finishing proved decisive, ending the Titans' maiden finals campaign.
