Match report
A huge Suncorp Stadium crowd watched Brisbane end the Dragons' premiership defence with a comprehensive win. Fullback Karmichael Hunt scored twice and was a constant attacking threat, backed up by tries from Lagi Setu and Jharal Yow Yeh, while Darren Lockyer again controlled the game from the halves. St George Illawarra, minor premiers that season, could only reply through a Brett Morris double.
