Match report
Sydney Roosters ended Manly's finals run with a 40-16 semi-final victory at Allianz Stadium. Victor Radley opened the scoring in the 11th minute, and James Tedesco crossed twice either side of tries to Sandon Smith and Justin Tupou, with Dominic Young completing the rout in the 75th minute. Manly, missing centre Tolu Koula to a first-half concussion and briefly losing vice-captain Jake Trbojevic to a head injury assessment, fought back through Haumole Olakau'atu, Tommy Talau and Ben Trbojevic but could not close the gap. The Roosters advanced to the preliminary final while the Sea Eagles' season ended.
